The antibiotics and increased steroids are working their magic. John's temp is down and he needs less blood pressure medication. He looks comfortable, is breathing with much less effort and is more awake this morning. This isn't an unqualified success; for that John needs to be able to do this things without meds; but, we are happy for the improvement. Yesterday was a very rough day. An old school friend contacted us recently with some reminisences about John's prowess as a kick ball player in elementary school. As I relayed the message to him, it made me think that he might enjoy any pictures you have of him during his school years; even better if it is a picture of you and him. If you have any class pictures or others you are willing to temporarily part with, I would love to show them to him (and, I will get the originals back to you.) Thanks as always for your good thoughts, prayers and messages that are medicine to the soul and that help pass some very long days.
