4/15

4 John's dialysis has been discontinued. He is sleeping without pain, waking up only occasionally. We are still reading him your messages and reminiscing about all of the great times we have had and everything we have learned from him. Prayers are still very much appreciated.

  4. ahh, my dear dear john and lynn and seth, michael, zacc, you are always in my prayers. i continue to pray for your recovery. you have been such an inspiration to me and to my sons. what a great example of a salt of the earth man who were and are for my sons whose father sadly was not quite that. i shall always be able to see those laughing eyes and hear those sardonic quips but alas to experience them again in person would be much more satisfying to the soul. i shall remember the bourbon tour, the times at blue heron and of course the endless soccer weekends. you all have made such a difference in my life. and my dear dear lynn, you are indeed german woman of steel. please know i am but a phone call away. i have strong shoulders and quite a good listening ear. i have lit a special white candle with some healing thoughts around it. may the heavens shine knowing the gifts you have given so many: laughter, love, hope, promise, guidance. how sad for the many youth who will have missed your superb teaching, your committment to excellence, and the guidance you offered your colleagues as well. man of honor, that is for sure, mr john. hats off to you. hang in there. the world still needs more of john ritter. i love you all. claudette

  5. Mr. Ritter was one of my favorite teachers ever. He made English fun, but more importantly, he was a nice, kind man. Mr. Ritter, my heart aches knowing that you are going though all of this. You deserve to enjoy retirement relaxing and enjoying time with your family. Please know my thoughts and prayers are with you and your entire family.
